I attended a Drag King/Queen show in Stoughton and met someone working with GSAFE. It sounded like a great opportunity to support some great people. I asked my grandmas to do what they could do - my Grandma Sue made these pumpkins.

Description:

I call this a yoga pillow because it is a great size for your yoga practice and accessories. Use it when you want to support your head when lying in a supine position. The wool pillow cover is mosaic knitting which makes it very dense and sturdy.

This shawl was a fun knit. Have you ever seen a Brahmin moth??? The wool yarn is fingering, a light weight. It will definitely provide warmth on a chilly Wisconsin evening.

Description:

I knitted the squares and strap. Pattern of purse is the Oa by Kate Davies. My daughter added the lining (a wool blend) and the zipper. The liner is scraps from Shawn who makes amazing hammocks (hammockhut.com)! The strap is long enough (46") so purse can be hung across the body.

This purse is named by the designer of the pattern for the Islay Penninsula in Scotland.

Description:

This wool scarf was designed by the one and only Kaffe Fassett. Check him out if you are not familiar with his amazing creations.

The scarf is a tube and so it's very, very warm. Wear it up north or during a polar vortex! Eleven of the thirteen colors are Briggs and Little yarn from the oldest mill in Canada.

This was a fun and at times challenging knit!
